It is the first of two courses required to get a California Guard Card, and it should take around 4 hours. You can complete this course online, and it meets the standards set by BSIS. Once you complete this course, you can move on to the second course, Weapons of Mass Destruction.

This course is conducted in conjunction with the CA Bureau of Security and Investigative Services guidelines, and in conjunction with Business and Professions Code Sections 7583.6 and 7583.7 and Title 16, Division 7, Article 9, Section 643 of the California Code of Regulations.
